Specifications:
- ZDBC is an Ultra Dithiocarbamate Accelerator which is an active accelerator such as ZDC. Major difference between ZDBC and ZDC is its solubility in rubber, owing to which it gives much better transparency and even lowers the risk of blooming from valcanisates. Other than this, most of the properties of ZDC are same. Besides this, ZDB is widely used as a accelerator in combinations for its excellent solubility with EPDM rubbers.
- This is one of the most preferred accelerator which is used with used in various non-blooming EPDM compound applications that entail extruded profiles for automobiles. Based on the application envisaged, its dosage can vary from 0.25 to 1.5 phr.
Storage and Handling:
- Stable (approx 3 years) under normal conditions of storage. No special handling precautions are necessary.
- Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
